About the Course
The Rescue Diver Course teaches divers how to recognize and manage diving emergencies. It focuses on self-rescue skills and assisting others in distress, making it vital for any serious diver.
Prerequisites
- Minimum Age: 12 years for Junior Rescue Diver; 15 years for full certification.
- Certification: Must be a certified PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent).
- EFR Training: Completion of the EFR course within the last 24 months is mandatory.
- PADI Medical Form: Participants must complete a medical statement. If you
answer “Yes” to any question, a physician’s clearance is required. - Liability Release: A signed PADI Liability Release Form is necessary to acknowledge the risks of diving.
Course Options
Course Structure
Learn the complete emergency rescue techniques, emergency action plan, emergency procedures covering other dive safety procedures. PADI offers E-Learning, allowing us to streamline the course duration and minimize classroom time.
Participate in confined water training and open water rescue scenarios, including assisting distressed divers and managing emergencies.
Typically takes 2-3 days.
