PADI Scuba Diver course

About the Course

The PADI Scuba Diver course is an entry level certification for those who want to experience scuba diving but may not have the time to complete the full Open Water Diver certification. It qualifies you to dive under professional supervision to a depth of 12 meters (40 feet), making it ideal for vacation divers or those wanting a quick start.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum Age: 10 years old for Junior Scuba Diver, 15 years old for full certification
  • Swimming Skills: Basic swimming ability is required, though a specific swim test (like the Open Water Diver course) is not necessary.
  • PADI Medical Form: You must complete a PADI Medical Statement to ensure you’re fit to dive. If you answer “Yes” to any medical questions, you will need a doctor’s clearance before starting the course.
  • Liability Release: You are required to sign a PADI Liability Release Form , which acknowledges the risks of diving and confirms your voluntary participation
